Here in Lhasa...Hello!
On the roof of the world people live a great deal on their roofs. Also the monastery roofs are wonderfull places to wander around, high in the sky, with immens views and copper ornaments.
The monastery of the state oracle is a very special place. It used to be (maybe still is) a place of exorcisme and predictions and you can see it on the wallpaintings, they look like a nightmare.
The sun is brilliant in Tibet and lights up the strong colours everywhere. Orange walls, blue ceilings, red doors,...
In some monasteries monks debate at three o´clock. It is an amazing thing to see. They practice arguing about the teachings of the buddha but to us it looks like a game with strong gestures and clapping of the hands.
We meet a lot of other travellers. We had a great time with a Japanese boy and even drank belgian beer with him. We form a group of 8 people (us, Israeli´s and Portugees) to share two jeeps to travel towards Nepal.
