From Thailand to ChinaOur last days in Thailand we spent with motorbike-trips, visiting even more tempels, and still enjoying the tropic warmth.
By passengerspeedboat we travel upstream the mighty Mehkong towards China. We pass through Laos and Myammar and enjoy fantastic views.
Jinghong is our first city in China. It´s colder than Thailand, but still ok. We get a very good first impression of the Chinese: very friendly and helpfull, although English is a big problem here.
From there we take a nightbus to Dali. Very beautifull old antique town, but so cold... With a tandem we exlore the area around and bump into a tempel-festival where we are very welcome to have a look.
